    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to be responsible for assembling parts, attaching components, and performing packaging duties with precision and attention to detail. This role requires manual dexterity and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment, ensuring that products meet quality and production standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble assigned product parts on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.

    + Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

    + Operate the laser machine under close supervision.

    + Adhere to company policies, focusing on safety regulations and quality control standards.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient manufacturing functions.

    + Read work orders and identify priorities to meet the production schedule.

    + Wear personal protective equipment as per guidelines and company policies.

    + Verify contents being packed and select the appropriate type and size of container.

    + Use appropriate packing materials to prevent breakage or damage.

    + Keep accurate counts of products being packaged and ensure correct contents are identified.

    + Perform inspections of products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Manual dexterity.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Ability to read work orders.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Ability to speak and understand English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Assembly or production experience.

    + Ability to twist, reach, and bend.

    + Mechanical assembly knowledge.

    + Good written and oral communication skills.

    The role is set in a production environment where you will have your own area to work on the assembly line. The workplace is fast-paced, requiring effective teamwork and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
