Job Title: Machine Operator $24/hr

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, your primary responsibility is the operation and monitoring of industrial machinery. You will ensure efficient functionality, conduct quality control, make necessary machine adjustments, and monitor settings. Routine inspections and troubleshooting are part of the role, and you will maintain and troubleshoot industrial manufacturing machines while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. You will also provide support in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and monitor industrial machinery.

+ Ensure efficient functionality and conduct quality control.

+ Make necessary machine adjustments and monitor settings.

+ Conduct routine inspections and maintain machinery.

+ Troubleshoot industrial manufacturing machines.

+ Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards.

+ Provide support for operations in a fast-paced plant.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in the operation of industrial manufacturing machines.

+ General knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to maintain and troubleshoot machines.

+ Experience with hydraulics or pneumatics is a plus!

Work Environment

This position is based in a brick plant with a non-climate controlled environment. You will be engaged in physical labor, consistently lifting up to 50 lbs. The machinery is older, and the environment can become dusty due to the nature of the product being created. This is a union environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iberia, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
