Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
This role involves using a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks and moving materials around the facility to support production. Once production is complete, the forklift is used to transport finished products to the warehouse or shipping dock. The operator will also use a stand-up forklift and reach truck for placing and retrieving items on the third-tier shelves as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load/unload trucks and transport materials within the facility.
+ Use RF Scan Gun Technology for repackaging activities.
+ Move finished products to the warehouse or shipping dock.
+ Utilize reach truck to place and retrieve items on third-tier shelves.
+ Maintain inventory accuracy through efficient material handling.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
+ Proficient in using RF Gun Technology.
+ Ability to maintain good attendance.
+ Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for at least 75% of the work time.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Forklift certification.
+ Experience with reach forklift and pallet jacks.

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean, and organized production environment spanning 256,000 sq ft. Safety is a top priority here. Employees work during the first shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the potential for 50+ hours per week, including weekends. The warehouse is designed to be safe and is not too loud.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
