    Job Title: Lead A&P Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead A&P Mechanic to join our team at a Washington County Airport-based 135 operator specializing in Learjet models. This role offers the opportunity to lead and support a team of maintenance technicians while ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and support maintenance technicians during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.

    + Perform and oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company and customer aircraft.

    + Coordinate workflow, priorities, and shift handoffs with DOM and ADOM.

    + Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance documentation.

    + Mentor and train junior mechanics and apprentices.

    + Assist with parts coordination, tool control, and hangar organization.

    + Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    + Support projects related to 145 Repair Station development, audits, and operational efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.

    + Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience (Part 135 or 145 preferred).

    + Strong understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance tracking systems (CAMP, CASS).

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

    + Experience with Learjet and Challenger aircraft preferred.

    + Heavy maintenance on corporate jets preferred - Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger, Legacy.

    + Own tools and be open to overtime work.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
