    • Responsibilities:

    + Set up and operate **3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines** (Mazak, Haas, Siemens, Fanuc)

    + Read and interpret **blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents**

    + Use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, FARO) to inspect parts

    + Monitor machine feed and speed during operations

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues

    + Collaborate with engineering and inspection teams

    + Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

    + Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives

    • Required Skills:

    + **Technical Proficiency:** G&M codes, CNC setup, tool fitting, fixture assembly

    + **Measurement & Inspection:** Use of precision tools and inspection equipment

    + **Problem Solving:** Ability to identify and resolve machining issues

    + **Communication:** Clear verbal and written communication with team members

    + **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of work and inspections

    • Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + 1–2 years of experience operating CNC machines (3, 4, or 5 axis)

    + Experience with **Vortex i-630V** is a plus

    + Familiarity with **Siemens, Fanuc, Haas controls**

    • Work Environment:

    + Machine shop focused on **precision aerospace and defense manufacturing**

    + Hands-on training for 6–8 weeks before shift assignment

    + Safety-first culture with opportunities for growth

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
