    Job Title: 1st Shift Lead Powder Coat Painter Needed

     

    Weekly Pay on Contract: $26-30/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Lead Powder Coat Painter with advanced knowledge of powder paint systems and applications. This role involves working in the paint booth, where you will be primarily responsible for powder coat painting. You will be required to be gowned up and perform painting tasks for the majority of the day, with occasional duties involving putting parts on and taking parts off the paint line. Flexibility to assist in other areas as needed is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Apply advanced knowledge of powder materials, types, properties, and storage.

    + Operate and maintain cleaning and pretreatment systems, including chemistry, testing, monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

    + Manage conveyance systems and perform maintenance.

    + Utilize and troubleshoot powder coating application equipment and techniques.

    + Implement part masking and hanging techniques to ensure quality, line density, and optimal transfer efficiency.

    + Set up, maintain, and monitor cure ovens.

    + Conduct overall automated system maintenance and troubleshooting.

    + Understand and work with various material properties, including flatness, surface grades, types, and gauge.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in powder coat painting.

    + Proficiency in industrial painting and paint preparation.

    + Knowledge of sandblasting, sanding, and spray painting.

    + Familiarity with powder coating and paint booth operations.

    + Ability to lead and guide a team effectively.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
