Machine Operator – Punch Press

**Location:** Windsor, CO 80550

**Shift:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

**Pay Rate:** $17.00/hr

**Work Environment:** On-site | Small, supportive team

About the Role

A detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Machine Operator is needed in Windsor, CO. This role involves operating a punch press machine to produce metal buttons. You’ll be part of a small, experienced crew that values precision, teamwork, and a comfortable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate punch press machine to produce metal buttons

+ Load metal reels and monitor machine performance

+ Conduct quality checks every 1,000 units:

+ Visual inspection using a microscope

+ Force characteristics test using specialized equipment

+ Record results on a trend chart and ensure tolerances are met

+ Make machine adjustments as needed (training provided)

+ Use basic math and computer systems regularly

+ Set up machines and tooling after training

+ Lift 50–75 lbs as needed throughout the day

Required Skills & Experience

+ Intermediate experience in manufacturing or production

+ Familiarity with press machines or similar equipment

+ Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

+ Comfortable using hand tools and performing visual inspections

+ Basic computer and math skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
