Job Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer

Job Description

Join a dynamic and expanding field by becoming a CNC Machinist/Programmer with our innovative team. You will be instrumental in designing and manufacturing custom equipment for law enforcement, military, and maritime sectors. We seek a professional who combines creativity with technical skill to help maintain our industry-leading reputation. A qualified machinist training program or apprenticeship and a minimum of 3 years of experience are required. US citizenship is also necessary.

Responsibilities

+ Operate CNC and manual machines to create prototype and production parts and assemblies.

+ Create CNC programs manually and using CAMWorks software.

+ Create fixtures for fabrication and assembly.

+ Assemble fabricated components.

+ Train and supervise machine operators.

+ Work with engineers to develop, prototype, and test various parts and assemblies.

+ Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper part and assembly integration.

+ Inspect prototype and production parts and assemblies.

+ Perform manufacturing equipment repair and maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Successful completion of apprenticeship or other formal training in CNC machine operation.

+ Extensive knowledge of CNC and manual machine shop tools and their operations.

+ Ability to maintain tool inventory.

+ Ability to interpret detailed manufacturing drawings and schematics.

+ Knowledge in using industry-standard measuring and test equipment.

+ Strong mechanical ability.

+ Proficiency with 3D CAD and CAM software.

+ Ability to work with and participate in design meetings with mechanical design engineers.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office.

+ Ability to work on complex projects individually and in groups.

+ Must be organized and self-motivated.

+ Must be a team player.

+ Availability for flexible scheduling including international and domestic travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.

+ Knowledge of CAMWorks software.

+ Skilled in hands-on prototyping and R&D.

+ Strong mechanical ability.

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
