Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Shipping Clerk who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

+ Pull parts for shipments as required.

+ Package products to meet shipping standards.

+ Obtain weight and dimensions of products being shipped.

+ Use Infor to process shipments efficiently.

+ Arrange for pickup and/or delivery of products using carrier websites.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in inventory management and forklift operation.

+ Proficiency with UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and LTL software.

+ Minimum of one year in a warehouse environment with shipping and receiving experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong computer skills with the ability to learn quickly.

+ Familiarity with packaging standards and warehouse equipment.

+ Ability to count parts and record data accurately and promptly.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.

+ Customer service-oriented with a willingness to take on new responsibilities.

+ Ability to prioritize duties and work within tight timeframes.

+ Adaptability to a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

+ Manual dexterity and physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Experience a smoke-free, climate-controlled industrial environment with approximately 10 workstations. Work alongside a team in a medium-sized warehouse with enclosed spaces and two open shipping receiving doors. The dress code includes a plain black t-shirt (provided after the first few weeks), jeans, and tennis shoes. Standing is required 100% of the time.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
