The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Catering Captain to join our team. As a Catering Captain, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage catering events and ensure their success.

What you'll be doing:

+ Overseeing the setup, service, and breakdown of events.

+ Coordinating staffing and managing event staff.

+ Coordinating and communicating all event operations with the client, kitchen staff, etc.

+ Overseeing and participating in the preparation of meals and beverages.

+ Preparing the banquet room or area for the event, serving customers, and cleaning up after the event.

+ Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines.

+ Any other tasks as necessary.

What we're looking for:

_Must-haves:_

+ At least two years' experience in catering, food service, or hospitality.

+ The ability to work as part of a team devoted to providing outstanding customer service.

+ Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

+ Good knowledge of all espects of event implementation.

+ Excellent communication and organization skills.

_Nice-to-haves:_

+ Food Handler’s certification.

+ Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.

Compensation Range

$20 an hour
