Start your day as a Product Engineer by collaborating withteams, offering build dispositions, providing quotes, and ensuringmanufacturability.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic,engaged, highly inventive, open and collaborative team handling complicatedprojects for custom engineered solutions related to the transformation of theoil and gas industry!

You will use your ingenuity and work with a team to meetour customers’ needs and specifications while optimizing mechanical solutionsfor complex aerodynamic, rotor dynamic, proven mechanic, acoustic,metallurgical, and other reliability challenges for a fleet of legacy machineryincluding centrifugal and axial turbo compressors, centrifugal pumps, andrelated equipment!

How You’ll Make an Impact

+ **Collaboratewith team members within this department and across the organization,including but not limited to other engineering specialty subject areas,sales, marketing, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and projectmanagement.**

+ **Supportquick turn-around projects to support customer turn-arounds and reducedown times in the customer fleet.**

+ **Leaddesign engineering in replacement parts and assemblies, to add performanceand reliability capabilities to the machinery and extending themachinery’s useful life. Coordinate, collaborate, and modernize complextechnical matters with collaborators such as CAD Designers, differentEngineering groups, sales, etc...**

+ **Ensureproduct designs are in accordance with contract requirements for thesupply of hardware while meeting or exceeding company and product linestandards; and identify/raise deviations to established standards formanagement approval.**

+ **Participatein development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement ofdesign tools, product improvements, and engineering standards associatedwith design, manufacturing, testing, and repair of turbomachineryproducts.**

+ **Supportthe factory and Supply Chain during the manufacture/ fabrication ofengineered components and assemblies.**

What You Bring

+ **Bachelor’sdegree in engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerodynamic, Chemical orequivalent degrees from an ABET accredited college/university will beconsidered).**

+ **1+years of proven track record of machinery design, rotor-dynamics,strength-of-materials / solid mechanics, materials-of-constructionselection, and manufacturing methods and theory; Candidates with moreexperience may be eligible for a more senior level role.**

+ **Workingknowledge of turbomachinery theory and thorough understanding of standardengineering principles such as: thermodynamics, aerodynamics, fluiddynamics, rotor dynamics, strength-of-materials / solid mechanics,materials-of-construction selection, machinery design is preferred.**

+ **Experienceworking with rotating machinery / turbomachinery such ascentrifugal/radial compressors, axial compressors, expanders, steamturbines. Along with knowledge and understanding of Siemens Energy’sproducts and services, e.g. Turbo Compressor Brands in portfolio:Dresser-Rand / Clark / Ingersoll-Rand, Cooper, Rolls-Royce, Demag, DeLavalis preferred.**

+ **Willingand able to travel domestically and internationally with short notice(estimated 5-15% travel)**
