    Job Summary

    This position supports Install and Service techs and Advisors/PMs with on time ordering and fulfillment for Job parts request. Supports office ordering and invoicing as needed or requested. Helps maintain warehouse stocking levels, inventory management and general upkeep. Vendor and customer support. Supports staff when warehouse manager is not available

    Essential Duties

    + Reviews Purchasing email inbox for parts request for Service tickets and Install Jobs, with review of Job queue for Install and SAFE orders to best determine method of fulfillment; utilizing warehouse stock or creating and submitting purchase orders for items not in stock or not regularly stocked in the warehouse

    + Pulls items from stock and stages in proper staging area dependent on request/Job schedule, Reviewing job pallets or parts request for items needing to be ordered; working with Advisors, Area Foremen, Coordination staff and researching where to best purchase items from for price and quickest availability

    + Stock and Expense part ordering; checking stock levels of parts needing to be ordered, verifying validity of Min/Max stocking levels, creating and submitting purchase orders, tracking status of fulfillment from vendors. Will Call invoicing and ordering as needed or requested by accounting

    + Performing cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy of on hand stock and proper stocking levels; reviewing parts to ensure they can be used before their warranty period has passed

    + Processing returns for items from stock that have or are getting ready to expire, items ordered for jobs that were not used, not needed, miss-ordered, damaged or not in proper working condition; working with vendors and techs to ensure proper returns are processed and RMA’s obtained

    + Maintain 5S procedures and upkeep of warehouse; sweeping, general cleaning and assisting with stock location and put away of stock and material ordered for jobs/service tickets

    + Supporting other areas/positions in warehouse as needed; receiving, driving, service, etc…

     

    Knowledge and Skills

     

    + Basic computer knowledge and understanding.

    + Will need to pass a forklift certification class and on hand testing .

    + MS office; Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint knowledge

    + Exceptional customer service skills.

    + Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member

    + Quality Control

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + High school Diploma, required

    + 2 -3 years experience warehousing and logistics (or equivalent with inventory management)

     

    Working Environment

     

    Physical requirements; standing, sitting, bending and lifting, need to be able to lift and carry 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds), Long periods looking at a computer screen.
