Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Technician you will perform a range of production and inspection tasks to ensure high-quality output. This position will be Full-Time and Onsite in Fairview, NC.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated **Manufacturing Technician.** If you have experience in manufacturing, the ability to interpret product blueprints, and soldering skills and are looking for your next career move, apply now. This position will be **Full-Time Contract** and **Onsite.** **This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.**

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

What You’ll Do

+ Inspect own work using quality standards and work instructions

+ Conduct pull tests as needed for particular operations

+ Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices

+ Inspect product to print

+ Complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product

+ Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed

+ Maintain general housekeeping of work area

+ Follow company and department guidelines, procedures, and policies

+ Follow safety guidelines

+ Read and perform tasks according to drawings

+ Perform all other work-related duties as assigned

What You'll Need

Required:

+ HS diploma or GED

+ Ability to interpret product blueprints and perform soldering

+ Good communication skills

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required to perform essential job functions including reading various signage throughout the facility, comprehensive understanding of various documentation, understanding and communicating processes to ensure workplace safety and job efficiency

+ Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time

+ Regular physical demands including lifting and/or moving 10 lbs routinely, 25 lbs frequently and occasionally 50 lbs

+ Must be able to operate machinery

+ Must be able to move between work zones

+ Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Basic computer skills

+ Experience with using measuring devices (gages, calipers, etc.)

+ Availability to work overtime to support production goals as needed

+ The role also requires the ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged duration

Physical Demands

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc

+ Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

+ Ability to operate machinery and move between work zones

The pay for this position is $17.61per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
