    Job Description:

You will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with a Veteran first vision to transform the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) with greater visibility into claims processing.     As a Program Analyst supporting the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) solution and future operations, you’ll serve as a critical bridge between mission stakeholders, technical delivery teams, and subcontractor support. This position will support a variety of HITL program functions ranging from metrics consolidation and reporting, training schedules, site visits, roster management, research into specific FOIA/PA cases, and general administrative functions required by GDIT policies and procedures. Your work will contribute to FOIA/PA outcomes through capacity forecasting and historical trends metrics that deliver measurable outcomes for VBA.

     

    Whether analyzing user needs, supporting system development, or guiding workflow improvements, you’ll enable more intelligent decisions and more effective outcomes in areas like healthcare, benefits delivery, logistics, or compliance.

    **TRAVEL-** expected travel, approximately once per month to customer sites (KY, PA and MO)

    Responsibilities:

    + Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors FOIA/PA case backlog and daily completion metrics to meet contractual / VBA business outcomes.

    + Support FOIA/PA training schedules and active subcontractor rosters to continually maintain HITL redaction capacity

    + Coordinate subcontractor roster management through synchronization with subcontractors and GDIT’s VA on-boarding staff

    + Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures for FOIA/PA HITL support

    + Monitor daily redaction productivity, identify performance issues, and assist in reconciling subcontractor case completion and invoices on a monthly basis

    + Support FOIA/PA case forecasting against actuals for performance and revenue purposes

    + Analyze VBA mission requirements to prepare targeted performance metric goals and objectives

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine functional and quantifiable (measurable) outcome and success metrics

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, related field, engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline with at least 2+ years of experience

    + 2+ years of demonstrated experience gathering supporting programs with status reporting, metrics collection and presentation, scheduling, and staffing management

    + Ability to translate stakeholder input into actionable plans for development and configuration teams.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Must be able to obtain a Veterans Affairs Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting. RealID, non-expired passport or military ID is also required for this process.

    The likely salary range for this position is $62,857 - $85,043. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
