Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Power Platform Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate, with a strong focus on secure application architecture, system integration, and custom development. This role blends architectural leadership with active solution delivery and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, analysts, and developers.
HOW an automation engineer WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
+ Collects and analyzes customer requirements
+ Designs and builds apps using Microsoft Power Automate and create Power BI dashboards and reports for all levels of the organization, including executives and staff.
+ Presents insights to both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders, assisting in making informed, data-driven decisions.
+ Contributes to a variety of complex data-related projects, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and analytics..
+ Leverages large sets of structured and unstructured data to develop tools and techniques for robust data analysis.
+ Collaborates with different teams to understand their application and data needs and create solutions that solve problems and streamline workflows.
+ Continually evaluate emerging technologies and stay updated on modern data architecture and analyses trends to implement in future projects.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education:
+ BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)
**Required Experience** :
+ 3+ years of relevant experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
+ **Power Platform Proficiency** : At least **3 plus years** of hands-on experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
+ **Technical Proficiency** : Hands-on development experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and SharePoint online.
+ Write and deploy custom components using JavaScript, C#, Power Platform Plugins, PCF controls, and custom APIs.
+ Experienced in consulting and supporting executives and senior leadership.
+ Expert-level experience in dashboard design, data visualization, and with Tableau and Power BI.
+ Experienced with Structured Query Language (SQL).
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.
+ Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.
+ Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate insights with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.
+ Skilled in implementing advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.)
+ Familiarity with machine learning languages
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
+ Experience with React, Node.js or any other JavaScript framework would be a plus.
+ Certifications in Tableau and/or Power BI
+ Certifications in AWS and Azure a plus
+ Knowledge of ITIL framework
+ Knowledge of Agile methodology
+ Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tool(s)
+ Experience with Python plus
+ Link to sample Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization work/portfolio is preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience consulting with internal and external customers to understand business needs and make recommendations.
+ Familiarity with cloud services: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.) and big data tools is plus.
The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
