• Patient Access Specialist

    TEKsystems (Lehi, UT)


    We are hiring for a Patient Access Specialist to join a fast-growing healthcare technology company in Lehi, UT. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients access medications efficiently and affordably.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage inbound calls and emails from patients, providers, and pharmacies

    + Educate members on pharmacy benefits and drug savings programs

    + Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate enrollment in savings programs

    + Ensure one-call resolution and maintain accurate documentation

    + Uphold HIPAA and PHI standards while providing compassionate support

    + Organize case details and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    + Meet performance metrics and service level expectations

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + 2+ years of experience in a healthcare call center handling inbound calls

    + Experience in case coordination, pharmacy tech, insurance verification, or prior authorization preferred

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Patient-centric mindset and ability to adapt to change

    Work Environment:

    + First 60 days of training are 100% onsite in Lehi, UT

    + After onboarding, potential to work remotely up to 4 days/week based on performance

    + 100% attendance required during initial 3-week training

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
