    Richmond Community Services (RCS) partners with individuals who have developmental disabilities to help them achieve their highest quality of life. We provide person-centered care, advocacy, and education across Westchester County, NY.

     

    The International Onboarding Coordinator ensures a smooth, supportive onboarding experience for new international hires. This role coordinates immigration documentation, travel logistics, housing, and all pre-employment requirements during an employee’s first 90 days in the U.S.

     

    When not onboarding international staff, the Coordinator supports HR recruitment efforts—particularly for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)—and serves as a backup to the Central Scheduler to ensure program coverage.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Serve as the primary contact for international hires, assisting with travel, housing, and community integration.

    + Coordinate flights, visa documentation, and airport pickups.

    + Schedule and accompany new hires to medical, fingerprinting, Social Security, and DMV appointments.

    + Track onboarding milestones and maintain compliance records (including Public Access Files).

    + Partner with HR and recruiters on staff placement after probationary period.

    + Assist with DSP recruitment and New Hire Orientation.

    + Provide scheduling support and help address short-term coverage needs.

    Qualifications

    + Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent HR/onboarding experience.

    + 2+ years of HR or recruitment experience; international onboarding experience preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Westchester County.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication and organizational skills.

    + Flexible schedule to accommodate flights and onboarding appointments.
