    POSITION: Adult Education Instructional Aid/ESL – Part Time

     

    SCHEDULE: Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:30 pm – 9:00pm (Total 19 hours a week)

     

    APPLICATION DEADLINE: ongoing

     

    Description: Aid the instructors at the ESL site located at the First Baptist Church in Cornelia. Will administer and score TABE pre-test and post-test, prepare, organize, and maintains student files, report and monitor student data, manage placement of students in classes, and attendance logs. Will also be available to travel to surrounding counties to help administer the TABE test when needed.

     

    Will provide support to the teachers by keeping inventory of the supplies, making supply requisitions to the office, making copies, and additional duties as assigned.

     

    Must be proficient in Windows applications (such as Word and Excel), internet, outlook, and job-related software programs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate degree in business or related field

    Salary/Benefits:

    • $ 16.00 per hour/ Not to exceed 19 hours per week/No benefits
