    The Global Media Sales (GMS) Team empowers direct advertisers as well as networked and independent agencies of all sizes around the world to reach their maximum potential through advertising across the Microsoft Advertising ecosystem. We are seeking a top performing **Partner Manager** to maximize our growth opportunities, as well as partner cross-segment on digital transformation initiatives to support agencies in delivering differentiated value to their clients.

    Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office approximately four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

    Responsibilities

    + Build and cultivate meaningful C-level relationships with the most senior leadership layers of the agency. Create and regularly expand the stakeholder map, functional rhythm of business and execute strategic Partnership Plans.

    + Hold accountability for orchestrating and executing the commercial deal strategy for Holding Companies and Key Independent Agencies.

    + Drive agency adoption and diversification of investment across our full Microsoft ecosystem, including Search, Display, Video, Gaming, AdTech and Data Collaboration solutions. Develop holistic partnership framework and conceptualize and drive scaled investment and best practices across global markets

    + Partner closely with Sales leaders across Performance Solutions, Media & AdTech Solutions, Gaming & Experiences to align strategy and commercial deal development. Take ownership of planning and executing revenue-driving initiatives in collaboration with GMS, MSA partners and MCAPs, driving reporting rigor and accountability to KPIs.

    + Lead Agency and team Executive briefings and coordinate with Marketing to deliver high-value marketing events that evangelize MSA properties and build long term impact plans and help establish Microsoft as a leader in the digital advertising space through thought leadership and industry expertise.

    + Champion AI-driven strategies to elevate agency partnerships, leveraging Microsoft’s cutting-edge advertising and AI solutions to drive innovation, efficiency, and measurable business outcomes

    + Connect with other functional teams (Marketing, Analytics & Insights, Technical Account Management, Field Sales Excellence, Operations, Legal, Finance) to ensure full leverage of available resources/ budgets/ tools etc. to drive partnership value.

    + Foster and promote the cross-Microsoft agenda, leveraging the broader Microsoft stack to support the agency in driving internal process transformation as well as differentiated value for clients through product innovation.

    + Operate at the ‘tip of the spear’, immerse yourself in industry shifts and competitive offerings, to inform product pipeline; and new sales initiatives. Flex into new and developing areas of the business as needed.

    + Embody and promote Microsoft’s culture and values .

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum qualifications

    + Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 6+ years relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)

    + OR 8+ years relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)

    + OR equivalent experience

    + 2+ years’ experience in digital media sales/service with a focus on agencies.

    Additional or preferred qualifications

    + Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 7+ years relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)

    + OR 10+ years relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 4+ years’ experience in digital media sales/service with a focus on agencies.

    + Understanding of the Agency buying landscape and media operations

    + Experience in nurturing AdTech and data-driven partnerships alongside media activation.

    + Experience with Demand side platform (DSPs) and/or Publisher side buying tools

     

    Advertising Client Success IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
