The Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment within SME&C is at the leading edge of growth and transformation. It’s a tremendous growth engine for the company dedicated to bringing the Microsoft Cloud to millions of SMB customers worldwide through scalable routes to market, growing revenue, market share and net new customers while enabling a high level of customer and partner experience.
This opportunity will allow you to lead the CloudAscent platform, the engine powered by AI, machine learning, and customer intelligence that takes internal and external data to deliver customer targeting and insights for the SMB business. CloudAscent is the largest customer targeting and insights platform at Microsoft driving Microsoft Cloud growth across millions of SMB businesses through Vendor Digital Sales, Agentic, and partner sales engines.
You will define the strategy, lead platform management, and drive insights that accelerate Microsoft success in capturing a larger share of the growing SMB Total Addressable Market. You will drive innovation in customer targeting, partner activation, and insights development working with the Global Channel and Partner Sales, Regional SMB Operating Unit, Vendor Digital Sales, Agentic, Global SMB Strategy, Marketing, and Finance teams.
To be successful, you need to have the ability to lead large scale platforms with multiple vendor teams, derive insights to inform business strategy, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, drive partner activation, and be customer and partner centric. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 40% at home.

Responsibilities
+ Lead the CloudAscent customer targeting propensity platform and analytics cube with insightintothousands of partners and millions of SMB accountsto drive new customer acquisition, up-sell, and cross-sell across the AI Business Solutions, Cloud & AI Platforms, and Security customer solution areas.
+ Lead the CloudAscent roadmap including feature and capabilities prioritization, feedback systems, usability, and customer target distribution mechanisms to partnersgaining input, support, and alignment with key stakeholders.
+ Drivethe data strategy to expand SMB account coverage, improve data quality, identify, prioritize, and secure new data sources to improve propensity recommendations and insights.
+ Create customer and partner insights to improve SMB near-term and long-term go-to-market strategy and sales engines that drive customer acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell.
+ Develop training content and drive activation of the CloudAscentplatform across sales and marketing teams and partners through leading presentations at events or training sessions.
+ Manage the operational and vendor management elements of the CloudAscent platform including customer targeting propensity recommendations and theanalytics cube for insights.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Marketing, Sales, or Finance.
Additional or preferred qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
Sales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
