    LinkedIn Talent Solutions is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and mission-driven Director to lead our growth within the Nonprofit customer segment across North America. In this influential role, you’ll own the strategy to accelerate revenue growth, build strong client partnerships, and expand LinkedIn’s presence within the nonprofit sector, a market full of organizations driving social impact and economic opportunity.

     

    Your team will partner with nonprofit organizations of all sizes to transform how they hire, develop talent, and fundraise. The gratifying result is helping nonprofits modernize their HR and talent acquisition strategies, develop workforce-ready teams, and gain insights into talent outcomes and impact. You will also partner with LinkedIn’s Social Impact Team, which makes this role unique and broader than most Director roles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Strategic Sales Leadership:**

     

    Guide, coach, and inspire a team of sales managers and professionals dedicated to partnering with nonprofit organizations to fuel their growth and impact. Craft and implement sales strategies across Hiring, Learning, and Sales Solutions that drive new customer acquisition and expansion within this segment and region, with a focus on mission alignment and long-term relationships.

     

    + **Drive Operational Excellence:**

     

    Ensure the sales team operates at peak efficiency by implementing and refining processes that streamline sales operations. This includes optimizing CRM usage, establishing best practices for pipeline management, and ensuring accurate forecasting. Continuously analyze and improve sales workflows to reduce inefficiencies and enable the team to focus on high-impact activities.

     

    + **Customer Centricity:**

     

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at priority nonprofit customers. Understand their unique missions, challenges, and resource constraints, and align LinkedIn’s solutions to meet those needs. Act as the voice of the nonprofit customer within LinkedIn, advocating for their needs and influencing product development and service offerings.

     

    + **Nonprofit Market Expertise:**

     

    Stay informed about trends in the nonprofit sector, including funding challenges, digital transformation, and the evolving world of work. Use this knowledge to position LinkedIn as a strategic partner for nonprofits, helping them leverage technology and data to maximize their mission-level success.

     

    + **Cross-functional Collaboration:**

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, and Engineering to drive product- and sales-led growth, ensure alignment on operational goals, and to leverage data-driven insights for seamless delivery, continuous improvement, and maximizing nonprofit customer satisfaction.

     

    + **Inspirational Leadership:**

     

    Set a clear vision, champion growth, and build trust, creating an environment where team members feel valued and driven to exceed expectations. Lead by example, providing mentorship and encouragement to help individuals realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to our shared goals. Foster an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

     

    + **Business Leadership:**

     

    As a key member of the LTS leadership team, you will shape and drive strategies beyond your direct reporting line to elevate performance, enhance client success, and accelerate growth across the Talent Solutions business, with a focus on the unique needs and opportunities in the nonprofit sector.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + 10+ years of experience in customer-facing & revenue-generating roles

    + 4+ years in sales leadership

    + 2 + years experience working with or within nonprofit, foundation, academic (e.g., K–12), or other mission-driven organizations: through sales, partnerships, leadership roles, or board service.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience selling to or leading within the nonprofit sector (501c3 organizations, foundations, or social impact enterprises); with an understanding of how these organizations operate and what drives their priorities.

    + Experience leading both new business and existing business sales teams

    + Experience managing managers

    + Experience working directly or cross-functionally with Marketing teams

    + Public speaking experience (e.g. panel disussions, keynotes)

    + Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams with proven results

    + Operational rigor with experience growing a business, driving discipline and accountability, and coaching teams to be more effective sellers

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and strategy

    + Demonstrated organizational agility and cross-functional influence, with the ability to think creatively about how to grow the business alongside partner organizations

    + Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and work in a rapidly changing environment

    + A high degree of analytical acumen and demonstrated ability to project and assess the commercial impact of current and proposed sales practices

    LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

     

    The pay range for this role is $319,000 to $486,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
