    Job Description

    Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential

    Join Amcor as a Liquid Dock Handler. This role owns the liquid waste handling process—from ordering materials to shipping waste. You’ll manage all liquid shipping/receiving, order supplies for the ink department, and handle hazardous waste, including inspecting drums to meet DOT standards.

    Schedule:

    Shift: 1st Monday- Friday (Flex coverage on weekends)

    Job Description: Possibility Unpacked

    What you’ll do:

    + Order and manage ink, adhesives, and related materials

    + Ship hazardous waste and empty drums; ensure all drums meet DOT and vendor standards

    + Schedule shipments and coordinate material transfers

    + Label and prepare hazardous waste drums; verify contents and compliance

    + Maintain and organize the liquid dock and ink warehouse

    + Perform inventory cycle counts and correct COGI errors

    + Move materials using forklift or pallet jack

    + Conduct daily audits and resolve non-conformities

    + Lead toolbox talks or training on liquid handling

    + Sign shipping manifests and bills of lading

    + Support press operations and complete other duties as assigned

     

    What we want from you: Lead the Pack

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Basic understanding of adhesive and ink blending

    + Attention to detail

    + Forklift experience

    + DOT training or the ability to obtain training within a week – EHSM will assist if needed

    + SAP experience

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts

    + Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environment
