    Strategic Access Support - Epic Configuration

    Job Summary:

    The Epic Configuration Analyst is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic System software. Conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews software, demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations, and works with Epic, Subject Matter Experts, and end-users to tailor the system to fit the organization's needs. Routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for the design, build, testing, and maintenance of those solutions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Independentlyexecutethebuild,edit,andmaintenanceofproviderandresourcetemplates

    + Review requests to determinethe impact on standard workflows, organizational standards, or systembuild

    + ProvideEpicbestpractice recommendations to reduce barriers to accessing provider templates

    + Build, update, and editprovider subgroups and block-matching logic within Epic

    + FacilitateandtriageChangeManagementrequestsfor the adult enterprise totheappropriateHealthITteam,conductusertesting,andprovide signoff approval of completedrequests. Changes include:

    + Scheduling order and workqueue optimization

    + Build, update, and edit templates for providerand resource schedule maintenance

    + Build, update, and edit provider scheduling subgroup maintenance

    + Work closely with clinic or Customer Relations Managers to facilitatedecision-tree edits

    + Intake and facilitate telephony change requests for centralized adult scheduling areas

    + Support new department openings through template changes, telephony, decision support, and appointment reminder build

    + Conduct deep-dive analyses for specialties to identify barriers to patient access to care; provide solutions to promote schedule utilization

    + Support telehealth implementations through scheduling template or visit-type edits for providers or resources

    + Support online scheduling initiatives through scheduling templates or visit type edits for providers or resources

    + AssistwithEPICtestingwhenversionenhancementsarecompleted,asrequested, consult with training teams as new projects are rolled out,creatingdocumentationfornewEpicprocessesuponcompletionofthe project

    + PartnerwithCustomerRelationshipManagers(CRMs),CallCenterleadership, and Clinic leadershiptodeterminesystemissuesrelatedto scheduling challenges

    + Maintain and manage all aspects of theArtera Reminder application by supporting localized patient outreach communications (updating and creating reminder messages and maintaining security for all Arteraapplications)

    + Manage all facility-wide patient outreach communication for the adult enterprise

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    + High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)(Required)

    + Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)(Preferred)

    + 2 years’ experience(Required)

    + Epic Certification within one year ofhire
