    Duties and Responsibilities

    Loyola Medicine at Gottlieb Hospital invites applications for a full-time gastroenterology hospitalist. Gottlieb Hospital is a community-based hospital located in Melrose Park, IL with two anesthesia equipped GI suites. The ideal candidate will work in a 7-day on/7-day off hospitalist model. Advanced practice providers assist/perform inpatient rounding in the 150-bed hospital. A GI Olympus upgrade project is currently underway. Enjoy working within a large Midwest academic medical center in a fast-growing community. Interventional ( EUS / ERCP ) skills are not required. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment. The successful candidate will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. This opportunity offers an excellent work life balance, covering one hospital and no outpatient clinics.
