Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Contract Length: Full School Year

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Setting: Special Education Classroom

Grade Level: Elementary (One School Site Only)

Position Overview:

San Marcos Unified School District is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to elementary students in a special education setting. This is a full-time, in-person role based at a single school site. The SLP will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting therapy services in accordance with each student’s plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct speech and language evaluations

+ Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

+ Provide direct therapy services to students

+ Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Requirements:

+ Active California SLP License

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

+ School-based experience required

+ Must be comfortable working in a special education classroom

+ Resume, license, and a brief professional summary required for submission

Compensation:

+ Local Pay Rate: $65-$70/hour

+ Travel Weekly Pay: $2,970
