The opportunity
Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Expediter to join our team at Monsieur Dior in Beverly Hills, California. As an Expediter, you are responsible for quickly responding to changing needs within the dining room, and expediting food from the kitchen to our guests by receiving food ticket orders, sorting them in kitchen stations, and notifying servers when dishes are complete.
Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.
Pay
$17.87 - $17.87 / hour

What will you do?
+ Manage and orchestrate the flow of service between the kitchen and the floor, maintaining a steady and organized pass
+ Ensure each dish meets culinary and presentation standards before leaving the kitchen
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with culinary and service teams to synchronize timing and guest experience
+ Maintain real-time awareness of table status, course progression, and guest pacing
+ Anticipate the needs of both service and culinary teams to prevent bottlenecks and maintain momentum
+ Oversee and ensure sanitation, organization, and readiness of the expediting station throughout service
+ Assist in training and mentoring team members on service standards and communication protocols
+ Embody the restaurant's values of precision, respect, and collaboration
+ Act as a calm and graceful presence during high-pressure moments, setting the tone for professional excellence
More about you
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in fine dining or luxury restaurant service, with a least 1 year as an Expediter or Lead Server
+ Full understanding of culinary terminology, menu composition, and service sequencing
+ Exceptional communication skills and a refined sense of urgency
+ Ability to manage multiple tickets, courses, and tables with focus and composure
+ Strong collaborative skills and a leadership presence that inspires teamwork under pressure
+ Impeccable attention to detail and a dedication to flawless execution
+ Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
+ No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
+ Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
+ Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays
+ Ability to lift to 35 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up
+ Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of the shift; may include walking up and down stairs
