• RN Psych Case Manager

    Amergis (Lowell, MA)


    Salary: $2400 / Week

     

    Amergis Staffing is seeking a Nurse (RN) Case Manager to work in the community with adults who have severe and persistent mental illnesses. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatments, and be comfortable with outreach, case management, and providing support in individuals' homes.

    Position Details:

    + Location: Lowell, MA

    + Program: PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment)

    + Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm

    + Start Date: Two weeks from offer

    + Salary: $60/hr

    Duites and Responsibilies:

    + Act as a primary case manager for 8-10 clients

    + Provide nursing interventions to individuals

    + Assist in the management of medications and the overall functioning of the nursing department

    + Formulate and regularly update Comprehensive Assessments and Individualized Action Plans (IAPs) for clients on your caseload

    + Participate actively in supervision, staff meetings, in-services, and trainings

    Qualifications:

    + Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation. You will be required to do home visits and travel to residential programs in the surrounding areas of Lowell.

    + 1 year of experience with mental health/psychiatric patients

    + 1 year of medication administration experience

    + 1 year of knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatments

    + Bilingual skills are a plus
