Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference in the classroom? We’re looking for dedicated Paraprofessionals to join a vibrant educational community in Lakeville, Minnesota, working directly within the special education program.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist teachers with classroom activities and student supervision

+ Support students with academic tasks, behavior plans, and social development

+ Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

+ Collaborate with staff to ensure every student feels seen and supported

Required Qualifications:

? Must be at least 18 years of age

? Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive deficits

? PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification

? Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

? Paraeducator certification (can be completed in-office)

• OR 60+ credits of post-high school education

Bonus Skills:

+ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

+ Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed

+ Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff

+ Must be able to pass a background check and meet school district requirements

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must have AA degree or pass the ParaPro exam
