The Industrial Engineer Assembly will be responsible for direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments, change control and line balancing. This position will assist the IE Manager and IE Supervisor with technical services to maintain efficient levels of lean manufacturing and manning.

Your role

+ Planning direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed

+ Executing material scrolls and workstation assignments

+ Executing cycle checks

+ Performing change control and line balancing

+ Utilize Lean concepts to identify and eliminate waste

+ Perform time/motion studies using MODAPTS

Your skills and experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or Associate's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.

+ Minimum 5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

+ Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite experience

+ Ability to occasionally work alternate shifts or overtime as needed

+ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering

+ Trained in MODAPTS work measurement system

+ Knowledge of time study/standards, ratings, ergonomic evaluations

+ Assembly launch experience

+ Kitting and indirect labor experience
