• Application Architect - Aws Cloud Migration

    CTG (Phoenix, AZ)


    CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect - AWS Cloud Migration position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

     

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead cloud migration architecture for multi-cloud (AWS primary; Azure, ICP, hybrid).

    + Design migration strategies for applications, databases, and integrations.

    + Select and implement tools for rehost, refactor, rearchitect, replatform, and containerization.

    + Advise project managers on technical scope, risks, dependencies, and MVPs.

    + Act as SME for migration methodologies, conducting workshops and tailoring approaches to client environments.

    + Map client platforms to AWS services and configurations.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    + 6+ years of cloud experience (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).

    + Hands-on Java development experience.

    + Proven ability to lead cloud migration initiatives and hybrid cloud solutions.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
