Job Description:
We are searching for Senior Principal Architect. The preferred location is Raritan, NJ. Remote candidates in the US will be considered on a case by case basis and if approved by the company.
This is a 2 year duration role with a projected end date of December 31, 2027.
As a Senior Principal Architect at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, you will architect the integration, adaption and extension of core Microsoft Dynamics capabilities and related technologies deployed into the North and South America regions, ensuring that deployments are seamless and integrated with other systems and data within the environment. This role involves collaborating with regional leadership and global capability owners and architects to plan the introduction and extension of core capability enhancements, determine how these will connect with other functionalities, and contribute to expanding the common core to address regional requirements. The position also includes leading the integration architecture to facilitate the solution’s alignment with the region’s commercial ecosystem and global application and data platforms.
You'll also play an important role in mentoring teams, encouraging innovation, continuous learning, and inclusion.
Business Acumen, Solution Design and Negotiation will be critical skills so that sound recommendations can be provided that align with regional and global strategic programs! You'll ensure that all technology solutions support MedTech's goal of building a connected ecosystem. Collaborating with the Data Architect to ensure regional enhancements align with the global Data Product Strategy will be crucial.
An important part of your responsibilities includes ensuring regional enhancements do not jeopardise common core upgradeability. Through these efforts, you will contribute significantly to the strategic growth and innovation of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the deployment of core capabilities into the regional environment, ensuring seamless integration with other capabilities and data, partnering with engineering leadership. Understand capability roadmaps to align on capability adoption timing.
+ Use global standards and strategy to develop a regional specific integration strategy for the regions, considering both short and longer term options depending on the connected ecosystem and roadmaps of other programs.
+ Collaborate with regional leadership and core capability architects on capability adaptation for the region, providing expert advisory support, identifying where custom developments are needed, as well as providing recommendations on how core capabilities could be extended to support the region.
+ Be a leader for architectural practices and standards for regional environments, mentoring and guiding regional technical teams and ensuring extensions are maintainable, scalable and built to standards.
+ Assess and optimize regional solutions for performance, reliability, scalability and user experience, addressing technical debt and driving continuous improvement.
+ Act as a liaison between regional partners and core capability architecture teams to align regional strategies with goals of the capability trains to ensure successful project execution. Build, align, prioritize and manage the capability architectural runway, backlog and risks.
+ Focus on collaborative innovation by being a partner with engineering, platform, and product teams to align the integrated solution with business objectives and value. Mentor teams to develop to good practice with a scalability and maintainability focus.
+ Ensure security standards and regulatory compliance are upheld throughout the regional deployment process.
+ Encourage innovation through continuous learning, mentoring team members, and driving personal development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
+ 5 years of solution architecture experience with commercial SaaS platforms, with at least 2 years in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
+ 10 years in IT, with experience of designing and delivering complex solutions.
+ 2 years working with complex Data and Integration landscapes.
+ Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics including Solution Layering.
+ Good business knowledge of Life Sciences commercial processes.
+ Solid data and integration knowledge with the Microsoft ecosystem.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
+ Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring technical team members.
+ Track record of understanding business needs and shaping requirements.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$118,000 to $203,550
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
