    Job Description:

    We are searching for the best talent for** **a** **Distribution Supervisor - Cold Chain in Mooresville, IN!

    As the Distribution Supervisor, you are responsible for providing leadership to 10-15 team members to achieve goals and objectives and operating company service level agreements. You will manage individual people, time, projects, metrics and distribution tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures, while focusing on safety, quality, environmental compliance, the Credo, the operational budget, and the operational calendar.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide active leadership to team members to achieve goals and objectives and operating company service level agreements, while managing within the operational budget

    + Proactively manage personnel and set standards of performance for assessment, feedback, documentation controls, training/education, clean/conducive environment while promoting positive morale.

    + Maximize safety awareness and training to minimize loss control.

    + Ensure Work Instructions for procedures are reflect the processes within the department and ensure training of all employees accordingly.

    + Deliver and support Cost Improvement Initiatives.

    + Establish and monitor department budget and adherence to cost controls.

    + Establish department goals, objectives, and metrics nested with site leader vision and priorities

    + Ensure FDA/GMP, Regulatory and QSR compliance in all aspects of operations and tasks.

    + Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions associated with Quality System findings (NCs, CAPAs, etc.)

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or higher is **preferred**

    + Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience **required**

    + Direct people management and leadership experience is **required**

    + Startup and/or establishment of new operations is **preferred**

    + Experience in writing and implementing work instructions and stand operating procedures is **required**

    + Logistics Planning experience (such as space analysis/optimization, Material Flow, or Layout design) is **preferred**

    + Lean/Six Sigma/Process excellence experience or certification **preferred**

    + Blue Yonder warehouse management system or equivalent WMS **preferred**

    + **Requires** Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

    + **Requires** the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

    + Up to 10% domestic travel **required**

    The role has a primary location in the J&J Distribution Center located in Mooresville, Indiana
