Join Our Team as a Patient Care Technician - Specialist (Post Anesthesia Recovery)!
Ready to be part of a team that helps patients recover and heal right after surgery? As a Patient Care Technician - Specialist in our Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit (PACU), you'll play a vital role in supporting patients during one of the most important moments in their care journey.
In this role, you'll:
+ Partner closely with nurses and providers to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
+ Assist patients with daily activities, monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and help ensure a safe and comfortable recovery environment.
+ Perform or support advanced clinical skills such as EKGs, phlebotomy, complex wound care, and NG tube management.
+ Contribute to patient education and provide calm, reassuring support during the recovery process.
Schedule Perks:
+ Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
+ Start times between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM
+ No nights, weekends, or holidays required!

+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Must also have either
+ a) 2 years of general healthcare experience and meet requirements of Patient Care Technician - Senior title,
+ OR b) 1 year of experience (defined above) and enrollment in PT/OT/PA program with completion of at least one clinical rotation,
+ or c) 1 year of experience (defined above) and completion of a bachelors degree in a health sciences field.
+ Annual completion of a professional contribution to be determined after hire
+ Successful completion of patient care technician specialist class
+ Successful completion of eRecord training.
+ Nursing Student that has completed one clinical rotation preferred
+ Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic or currently enrolled in an EMT or Paramedic program preferred.
+ Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course and annual competency required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire ACLS preferred
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Act 34
