    We are seeking an experienced **MDU Program Manager** to join our Pre-Construction team. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting the planning and execution of fiber deployment projects across multiple multi-dwelling unit (MDU) developments. Working closely with the Business Development, Construction and Operations teams, this role ensures projects are properly scoped, designed, and prepared for successful construction execution. The MDU Program Manager will assist in coordinating project schedules, budgets, and permitting activities, and act as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure program goals are achieved.

    The Role

    + Support the end-to-end management of multi-state MDU fiber deployment programs, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards

    + Collaborate with Pre-Construction and Project Management teams to align planning, design, and field execution activities

    + Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects

    + Assist in developing and standardizing processes, templates, and reporting tools to drive consistency and efficiency across markets

    + Support leadership with program-level reporting, risk management, and performance tracking

    + Monitor program budgets, track expenditures, and support cost control measures

    + Assist with financial forecasting, variance tracking, and reconciliation of project spend

    + Review contractor invoices, change orders, and material requisitions for accuracy and compliance

    + Serve as a central point of coordination between Pre-Construction, Engineering, Operations, Permitting, and Procurement teams

    + Support communication and coordination with Sales, Business Development, and clients to ensure project readiness and alignment with contractual terms

    + Participate in recurring program meetings and status reviews to communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans

    + Coordinate and track permitting processes across municipalities and utility jurisdictions.

    + Assist in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and telecom standards

    + Support quality control reviews, documentation audits, and site readiness assessments prior to construction start

    + Build and maintain relationships with property managers, developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders

    + Address escalations and coordinate resolutions in partnership with the Director and Project Management teams

    + Ensure effective communication and transparency with all external partners throughout project planning and delivery

    + Travel to project sites, regional offices, client locations, and industry events across multiple states

    + Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the MDU program lifecycle

    + Develop and maintain dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries for leadership visibility

    + Support operational readiness for new market launches or expansion efforts

    Requirements

    + 5–8 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber deployment, or related construction projects

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

    + 3+ years of experience managing or coordinating multiple projects or programs simultaneously

    + Strong understanding of FTTH and MDU infrastructure deployment processes

    + Experience with permitting, design review, and pre-construction planning preferred

    + Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

    + Experience with project management software and reporting dashboards (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.)

    + Ability to interpret construction drawings, fiber designs, and site plans

    + Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

    + Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and reporting

    + Ability to travel +/- 50% annually to project sites, regional offices, client locations, and industry events across multiple states

    + Extended periods may be required in specific markets to support critical project phases or regional expansion

    + Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or be on-call as needed to support project deadlines and address critical issues

    + Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving

    + Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
