    Description

    The Director provides on-going leadership and operational oversight of specialty clinics. Responsible for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality day-to-day operations that are aligned with associated clinical programs. Leads managers and staff in the coordination and utilizes clinical best practices. Ensures quality patient care and access to timely services that are sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Assists with the acquisitions of specialty clinics within assigned areas. Advises senior physician division leaders on administrative and operational matters. Leads or participates in special projects, committees or task forces. Partners with Regional Medical Directors, and Clinical Program leaders on matters that potentially impact clinic provider's professional activities or performance. Promote strategic alliances with internal and external Health System partners to achieve coordinated and integrated care models.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree Preferably Business and/or Healthcare related.

    + 5 years experience in medical group management or healthcare organization at a senior level (preferably with specialty clinic and multi-site locations).

    + Experience in a large matrixed organization, including clinic operations, change management, financial management, quality management, risk management and business growth and development in a large medical group or health care model.

    + Worked directly with healthcare leadership team including physicians.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
