Job Description
The Senior Rebate Analyst identifies financial variances by compiling, comparing and analyzing financial results. The Senior Rebate Analyst identifies trends and recommends actions to Management while ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, controls and applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Senior Rebate Analyst will provide management with information to assist in operational decision making.
Essential Job Functions
+ Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
+ Update and maintain databases for sales and rebate data calculations
+ Assure timely and accurate accruals of rebates at Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly basis
+ Compile data and prepare a variety of reports for management review
+ Serve as a resource to other Shared Services Employees for all rebate programs and JDE Lead/SME
+ Collaborate with Accounting team as Rebate Audit Lead to provide examples and explanation to internal and external auditors
+ Reconcile monthly rebate balance sheet ledgers
+ Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output
+ Follow Rebate program policies and procedures when validating rebates calculations; reporting needed changes or exceptions to management.
+ Maintains customer confidence by keeping all customers program information confidential.
+ Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies
+ Design, develop and maintain logbooks or records of rebates/other incentive programs
+ Analyzes rebate data to include: compiling program facts, figures and financial formulas to determine profitability
+ Provide other financial information as required by Shared Services and Sales

+ Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

+ Demonstrated understanding of basic statistical methods
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Work Environment
+ Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
+ This role works with U.S. Shared Services organization.
Physical Demands
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
+ Must be able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends) to complete tasks as assigned
+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
Travel
+ Up to 10% travel required
Required Education/Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance is required
+ Minimum four years financial experience required
Additional/Preferred Eligibility Requirements
+ Manufacturing or Sales industry experience preferred
Work Authorization
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
