Job Description
Role: 2nd Shift Storeroom Coordinator
Job Summary: The Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the storeroom, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of materials, tools, and supplies. This role ensures accurate inventory records, timely distribution of items, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. The Storeroom Coordinator works closely with maintenance, production, and procurement teams to ensure materials are available when needed to support efficient plant operations.

Job Responsibilities
+ Maintain storeroom inventory using the Maximo system and ensure data accuracy.
+ Process requests for new items and create purchase requisitions as needed.
+ Receive, verify, and distribute incoming parts and materials to proper locations.
+ Ship outgoing materials and coordinate deliveries as required.
+ Monitor and maintain rotating stock and critical spare parts inventory.
+ Collaborate with Purchasing and vendors to expedite orders and secure best pricing.
+ Conduct regular inventory and cycle counts; audit and correct documentation errors.
+ Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure parts availability for projects and repairs.
+ Continuously assess and adjust stocking levels to meet operational needs.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom environment.
Job Requirements:
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a storeroom, coordinating/management of a
+ storeroom, or working in procurement.
+ Associate’s degree in business or technology preferred.
+ Ability to drive a propane forklift, reach truck and electric pallet lift.
+ Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently, 60+ lbs. occasionally.
+ Work flexible hours to support production and maintenance.
