Stabil Drill** is currently seeking a Full-Time **Shop Technician** to join our team in **Conroe, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Operate Shot Peen Machine.

+ Operate Phosphate Machine.

+ Responsible for the cleanliness, pressure washing, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property. Including general shop, breakroom, & cleanup.

+ Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift.

+ Assist in special projects.

+ Shop organization and supply storage. Including daily and weekly inventory.

+ Receiving and distribution of supplies.

+ Assist with the movement of tools.

+ Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.

+ May operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries.

+ Follow established safety policies and procedures.

+ On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.

+ Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.

+ Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Education/Experience/Abilities:

+ High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.

+ Current knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in the oil/gas industry.

+ Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.

+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

+ Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

+ Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.
