    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Security Architect to help identify and mitigate security risks across business strategies and IT systems. This role involves assessing cloud and on-premises application security, conducting audits, collaborating with DevOps on secure development practices, and communicating risk assessments and security architecture recommendations to stakeholders.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Bachelor’s Degree, Technical School, or equivalent training in information systems.

     

    -2+ years of experience in information security.

     

    -Microsoft or Linux Systems Administration.

     

    -Network Security (Firewall/IPS) and tools: Netskope, Cisco, Barracuda, F5, Fortinet.

     

    -Azure Cloud and Microsoft Entra.

     

    -Programming/scripting: BASH, PowerShell, Python.

     

    -API integration scripting.

     

    -Kubernetes/container security: Kodem, Checkmarx, Aqua.

     

    -Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework or similar (NERC, PCI, FDA).

     

    -Experience in at least 2 cybersecurity analyst domains.

     

    -Strong investigative mindset—able to dive deep into complex security issues.

     

    -Windows-heavy environment experience (with transition toward Kubernetes).

     

    -AWS experience (considered equivalent to Azure and required).

     

    -Strong communication skills as they may take part in round table discussions with other banks they service -Azure certifications.

     

    -Ability to perform deep discovery work beyond typical architectural responsibilities.
