Job Description
One of our large facility maintenance clients is seeking a Process Engineer - Building Commissioning to join their growing team onsite of a Biopharmaceutical client site. As a Process Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems, ensuring all systems meet applicable standards.
Be present for system commissioning activities, primarily occurring on weekends, to represent our team and ensure accurate testing and functionality of equipment. Technicians must be experienced enough to identify when systems are not operating as expected and ensure all access points are serviceable and maintainable.
Provide Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) support during commissioning and other critical operations.
Work schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday, with an alternative option of four 10-hour shifts from Thursday through Sunday.
Follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Maintain an energy management program to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of building machinery and systems.
Perform emergency repairs as needed and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Coach others and share expertise across subject areas.
Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and work to build consensus across teams.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related teams.
Work within broad guidelines and policies, and communicate difficult or sensitive information effectively.
