Job Description
The Manager of Operations is responsible for leading all strategic and daily activities of the operations team, overseeing approximately 50 personnel including shop floor supervisors. This role ensures timely and cost-effective execution of manufacturing processes with support from cross-functional teams such as engineering, planning, quality, safety, and facilities. The core products include fiber terminations, precision mechanical and acoustic assemblies, and electronic assembly and testing. Reporting directly to the operations division leader and indirectly to the site general manager, the manager drives performance through lean practices, safety initiatives, quality improvements, and employee engagement. Key responsibilities include developing operational strategies, managing talent and succession planning, collaborating across functions, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and metrics.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of experience
Extensive experience in Shop Floor Management of electronics, acoustic, or related commodities/processes Experience in the following fields of Operational Excellence:
Understanding of lean principles around pull systems, mix/max controls, etc.
One Piece Flow or Pull System manufacturing flow
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
5S+1 Visual Factory
Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
Gemba implementation
Demonstrated MRP/MES System adherence
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015; AS9100D and QMS adherence
