    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Administrator is responsible for processing IT financial documents per Sysmex finance and procurement policies and procedures as well as maintaining accurate financial records for IT Leadership. This role will also be responsible for assisting with general system administration of IT applications for the Customer Systems team, including support for Smartsheet, Atlassian (software development) and Tricentis (software testing) applications. System administration duties include user management, license audits, end user training and configuration changes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Performs IT financial administration activities by working closely with key leadership team members and project managers to forecast, process and monitor IT invoices for both operating and capital expenditures. Financial Administration activities are performed in SAP with records kept in Smartsheet.

    2. Assists IT Data Analyst with compiling financial reporting that is used by leadership to ensure responsible budget management within the IT department. This may include monitoring fixed project budgets (CAPEX) to prevent budget overruns, identifying cloud spending anomalies, and balancing against established operational expenditures (OPEX).

    3. Maintain relationships with IT vendors to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for stable partnerships. This may include processing vendor onboarding paperwork and participating in vendor evaluation practices.

    4. Performs system administration duties to support Sysmex staff with access and configuration changes to enterprise software tools needed for collaboration (Smartsheet, Atlassian, and Tricentis). Tasks include, but are not limited to, account administration, license auditing, end user training, and performing configuration changes as needed.

    5. Responsible for assisting the IT Data Analyst with coordinating configuration changes, automation and workflow improvements within the enterprise software tools (mentioned above) to increase efficiency and improve cross-team collaboration.

    6. Responsible for assisting with supporting IT application project initiatives, document applicable processes, and analyze/troubleshoot system issues, as needed.

    7. Responsible for assisting with IT Data Analyst in creating, maintaining, and delivering financial, software development, and project management office (PMO) reporting to leadership.

    8. Other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Associates degree or 3 years required experience in Data Entry/Administration, Business Administration, Bookkeeping and/or IT System Administration which may include experience in the Armed Forces.

     

    - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, Economics or related field preferred.

     

    • MS Office Suite with advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas)

    • Technically savvy – experience with SaaS and online software applications Software Experience

    • Smartsheet (Asana, Monday.com or comparable PMO software)

    • Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket or comparable development tools)

    • Tricentis (qTest, Vera or comparable software testing applications)

    • ServiceNow (Zendesk, Jira Service Management or comparable IT ticketing software)

    Other Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience handling Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders

    • Experience processing Goods Receipts to pay Invoices

    • Experience creating financial reports to be used by leadership

    • Experience with hybrid work arrangements (in-office and remote)

    • Experience with customer service or IT support roles

    • History of delivering and/or supporting successful projects
