    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an Automation Engineer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit in Richardson Texas. This individual will be part of the Agent Engineering team, contributing to the development of automation tools and overseeing the testing of those tools and associated data pipelines. The role involves hands-on work with Java Spring Boot microservices that support the testing infrastructure, requiring strong technical proficiency in backend development. The team operates across three platforms—UI, Middleware, and Test Automation—with this position focused primarily on the Test Automation layer. The team is currently engaged in multiple release cycles, performing regression testing, building new features, and driving automation efforts. We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer who is well-versed in modern testing frameworks, programming languages, and agile testing processes.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5-10+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer

     

    - Strong hands on experience with Java, Spring boot, and Microservices

     

    - Proficiency with Playwright for UI testing

     

    - API testing experience using Serenity, Cucumber, and Rest Assured - Credit card domain knowledge

     

    - Experience working with typescript

     

    - Masters in Computer Science
