Job Description
A growing pharmaceutical company is seeking a Business Analyst to support its R&D operations, with a focus on Clinical, Safety, and Regulatory systems. This short-term role (approx. 8 weeks) will serve as the right hand to Director of IT R&D helping the business understand and optimize its enterprise regulatory file system and prepare for future-state planning. We need someone who can see how Egnyte is being best used. The goal is to decommission Egnyte, so this person will do a full audit on this and devise best steps for 2026. It is important that this resource has R&D domain experience to be able to speak to these groups comfortably.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with various R&D groups to identify current content, understand where it’s located, and help map to a new environment.
• Lead efforts to clean up and document file shares, ensuring alignment with future-state goals.
• Support road mapping initiatives for clinical operations and medical teams, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
• Collaborate with teams drafting safety, RIM, and quality audit documents to ensure proper storage and access protocols.
• Research industry best practices and bring external insights to help shape internal strategy.
• Document and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation:
$70/hour to $80/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in R&D environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise regulatory file systems, including document types, data structures, and business roles.
• Solid IT knowledge/ background
• Ability to credibly interact with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics, and PV/Drug Safety teams. • Background in small to mid-size pharma environments
