The role you'll contribute:
The Clinical Engineering Manager leads clinical engineering initiatives to provide superior customer service and operational efficiency by managing the execution of the AdventHealth Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP). This position manages operations on a day-to-day basis, collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers, works to develop colleagues, and provides a communication channel between hospital executives. The Clinical Engineering Manager also directs regulatory body inspections and ensures that AdventHealth is following regulatory standards. This position includes a hands-on service component in general biomedical support. The individual demonstrates adherence to the AdventHealth service standards. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

+ Manage Service Operations functions, such as service contracts and resources. Document demand labor, demand parts, labor, contracts, labor, and parts
+ Answer questions and meet with others to identify the root cause of technological/process problems
+ Manage inventory of shop supplies
+ Develop service strategies with an outlook of continuous process improvement
+ Manage regulatory body inspections and make sure open work orders are made a priority and that performance assurance inspections are documented
+ Department Management & Development
+ Build and maintain relationships with customers by employing interpersonal and conflict management skills
+ Effectively collaborate with customers and vendors to develop win-win solutions
+ Monitor each modality after setting financial and performance benchmarks
+ Identify and pursue opportunities for business entry
+ Manage financial performance
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
+ Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent technical or military training/experience
+ Associate's in a related field AND Six years of biomedical, facilities, or related experience
+ 4 biomedical, facilities, or related experience OR 6 biomedical, facilities, or related experience
+ 1 preferably in a clinical engineering setting; or graduate of a management training program
+ DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State and driving record in accordance with AdventHealth policy; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require use of personal vehicle with liability insurance
