Leidos Is Hiring: Senior Level Targeting Analyst/ Team Lead – Shape Strategy, Influence Outcomes

Are you ready to make a global impact from behind the scenes? Leidos is looking for a **Mid-Level Targeting Analyst** to join a critical mission at the heart of defense intelligence—supporting a Combatant Command (CCMD) at the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC).

Targeting Analyst Responsibilities:

+ Lead **all-source targeting analysis** to support both lethal and non-lethal operations.

+ Translate intelligence into **real-world action** —developing, refining, and managing target data that informs senior decision-makers.

+ Conduct **Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE)** and deliver actionable target graphics.

+ Shape targeting policies by editing and advising on DoD and USCENTCOM procedures.

+ Champion **target system analysis (TSA)** and brief leadership across military decision-making boards.

+ Train others, influence operations, and stay on the cutting edge of **target development and prioritization** .

Team Lead** **Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Interact daily with multiple DoD clients to assess team performance, recognize top performers, determine way-ahead strategies and proactively manage, recognize and correct issues before they become problems.

+ Verify compliance with contract task order terms and conditions and Leidos policy and guidance.

+ Provide professional direction and mentorship;

+ Approve time cards and absences; and facilitate team member advancement / recognition opportunities

Basic Qualifications

+ **Top Secret / SCI clearance** with polygraph eligibility.

+ Bachelor’s degree and **12** **+** **years of experience** , including recent exposure to targeting functions. An additional 4 + years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

+ Previously held a leadership role directing intelligence analyst teams in support of national security and operational planning.

+ Deep knowledge of DoD, CJCS targeting frameworks, and practical CDE experience.

+ Experience directly supporting CCMD missions.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
