    About the Role

     

    As an **HR Payroll Specialist** , you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a leading aerospace company. Your expertise will directly impact employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. This is a **full-time, consultant position** with the **potential for full-time employment after 90 days** —a chance to take off into a long-term career with a global industry leader.

     

    + **Location:** Wichita, KS

    + **Schedule:** Monday to Friday; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    + **Pay Rate:** $30.24/hour

    + **Duration:** 4-month contract with potential for FTE conversion

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Process regular, off-cycle, and adjustment payrolls with precision

    + Manage withholdings, reconciliations, imputed income, and internal controls

    + Execute quarter-end and year-end payroll tasks and reporting

    + Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations

    + Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders

    + Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment

    + Adapt to evolving processes and systems with agility

    + Apply analytical thinking to resolve payroll-related issues

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + 3–7 years of payroll processing experience

    + Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and regulations

    + Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field

    + Experience with **Dayforce** or similar payroll platforms

    + Familiarity with **SAP**
