    **POSITION SUMMARY:** Coupon/Probe Technicians: Corrosion Coupons & probes are internal corrosion monitoring devices that will be retrieved with service equipment. Retrievals are done while lines are in service and pressurized. The Technician position is an entry level position that will work side by side with the lead Servicing coupon locations including ER resistance probes, and their remote data collectors. This includes disassembly, inspection and cleaning of all retrievers and used service valves at least once weekly. Required maintenance will also include hydrotesting of all equipment. Will perform maintenance, cleaning and reconditioning of plugs. Maintain performance data in respective databases. Will assist Hot Tap activities when the addition of access points to any pipeline, piping or vessel is deemed necessary for additional internal corrosion monitoring. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on followed by 21 days off, or 14 days on and 14 days off. Daily work shifts will be 12 hours.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

    + Service and maintain coupon locations including ER resistance probes and their remote data collectors, this includes disassembly, inspection and cleaning of all retrievers and used service valves at least once weekly.

    + Required maintenance will also include hydrotesting of all equipment

    + perform maintenance, cleaning and reconditioning of plugs

    + Maintain performance data in respective databases

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + Mechanical experience/knowledge preferred but not required.

    + Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

    + Valid driver’s license

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Frequent lifting up to 85 lbs.

    + Must be able to tolerate working in extreme climates (subzero temperatures) for extended periods of time

    + Able to work in smaller areas around piping and equipment
