About the Team

The Business Operations and Enablement team plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and enterprise-wide transformation. We design and implement strategies that streamline processes, empower teams, and ensure organizational readiness for the future of retail.

What You’ll Do

As the **Director of Business Operations and Enablement** , you will lead high-impact initiatives that improve performance, strengthen execution, and enable sustainable business transformation across Walmart’s operations. You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver programs that simplify work, enhance associate engagement, and enable scalable growth.

You will make an impact by:

+ Developing and implementing business enablement and change strategies that align with Walmart’s strategic priorities.

+ Identifying and resolving process improvement opportunities through data-driven insights and collaboration.

+ Partnering across business units to integrate enablement initiatives into operational and strategic planning.

+ Providing strategic direction to project and training teams to ensure business readiness and alignment with key objectives.

+ Overseeing enterprise programs that drive measurable business impact and associate adoption.

+ Leading development of implementation plans, documentation, and training materials for large-scale initiatives.

+ Managing education and awareness efforts for senior leaders and key stakeholders to support change adoption.

+ Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent across enablement and transformation functions.

+ Building communication plans that promote understanding, alignment, and adoption across all levels of the organization.

+ Modeling and promoting Walmart’s standards of integrity, ethics, and our Open Door culture while sponsoring community outreach initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Advanced degree (MBA or related field).

+ Certification in Change Management (Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent).

+ Experience leading large-scale transformation or enablement programs within a Fortune 500 organization.

+ Proven track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering continuous improvement cultures.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
