    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

    The Student, Intern will represent the Operational Governance & Execution group within Information Technology. The Operational Governance & Execution team provides multiple services to the enterprise, including IT Asset Management, Application Mapping, Change Management, Release Management, Vulnerability Management, among others.

     

    The role requires both tactical and strategic analysis and decision making. The individual performing this role must be able to evaluate multiple programs and processes both internal to the group and external to predict and plan for unexpected consequents and business needs.

     

    The Individual in this role will need strong communication skills to work with various individuals and teams both technical and business oriented. Additionally, the ability to understand processes end to end, and an understanding of agile will be required to be successful.

    JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    + IT Asset Discovery

    + Perform configuration item de-duplication activities to improve asset quality.

    + Support Discovery Lead in the development, deployment, and maintenance of asset discovery models

    + Support Discovery Lead in the development, deployment, and maintenance of pre/postscripts for attribute capture in Discovery

    + Provide analysis for non-ServiceNow Discovery assets maintained by supporting tools like Scalable, Bigfix, etc.

    + IT CMDB Certification of Asset Attributes

    + Support and provide analysis for Asset Owners performing certifications.

    + Assist in reporting and accountability for CMDB Health.

    + Provide analysis to identify and categorize asset classes for add or remove from Principal Classes

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    + Seeking a student that is actively pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, an/dor other relevant field of study.

    + Must be currently enrolled in school full-time, pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree as indicated above.

    + _Preferred: Sophmore classification at minimum._

    + Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).

     

    Preferred Experience / Skills / Abilities

     

    Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, CMDB, ITSM, Javascript considered a strong plus

     

    Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position.
